The Soybean Meal Infosource newsletter is published bi-monthly and includes the latest information on soybean meal research and utilization in animal feeds. The newsletter also provides an update on new technological advancement in soybean genetics and feed quality. In addition, we publish four special issue editions each year focused on soybean meal use in aquaculture, poultry, swine and dairy rations.

The material for the newsletter and web page is developed by Keith Smith, who is recognized as a leader in soybean utilization and production research. Dr. Smith has his Ph.D. from Iowa State, is trained in animal nutrition and has 30 years of experience in research administration. He has lectured internationally, conducted meal evaluations in various countries and represented soybean producers for 10 years on the feed industry’s nutrition council.
