Three experiments using male turkeys were conducted to determine the effects of supplementing corn-soybean meal diets with dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (TA). The results of the research indicated that corn-soybean meal diets contain from 6-20 IU alpha-tocopherol per kilogram. Supplemental TA was not needed to support satisfactory performance of male turkeys from 1 day of age to market weight when the turkeys were free of disease.
