Increasing dietary SBM above typical levels mitigates FCE and ADG loss during SRD. SBM is both a nutritional and prescriptive ingredient. Cost-effective periods for elevated SBM may be during winter-spring seasons, when barns are closed tight and when SRD is often a problem.
